Mary McConnell grew up in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, England. She lived their during and after World War II and met my father their when he was stationed their with the US Army. They married and she moved with him to Minnesota USA in the late 's. She has been writing poetry and prose for many years and this site will showcase her writings.
